Families / Li–Liao classes
I.B orbits
Class I.B orbits, for equal and unequal masses.
I.B orbits are periodic solutions of the planar three-body problem. The atlas holds 540 of them, with periods from 8.558 to 199.7, for several mass ratios; 314 of them are linearly stable. They come from Li & Liao (2017), More than six hundred new families of Newtonian periodic planar collisionless three-body orbits. Every orbit is precomputed to machine precision and plays one period at a time; open one to watch it, nudge it or rate it.
