I.B.63

From Li & Liao (2017)

I.B.63 is a periodic orbit of the planar three-body problem: three equal masses that return to their starting positions and velocities every 121.37 time units, published by Li & Liao (2017). Class I.B orbits, for equal and unequal masses. It is unstable (largest Floquet multiplier 10.85), so a small nudge makes it unravel over a few periods. The bodies pass within 0.00131 of each other at a top speed of 27.6, line up 132 times a period, and the computed loop closes to 1.0×10⁻²⁴.
