I.B.147

From Li & Liao (2017)

I.B.147 is a periodic orbit of the planar three-body problem: three equal masses that return to their starting positions and velocities every 175.98 time units, published by Li & Liao (2017). Class I.B orbits, for equal and unequal masses. It is weakly unstable (largest Floquet multiplier 2.391), so a small nudge makes it unravel over a few periods. The bodies pass within 0.000176 of each other at a top speed of 75.4, line up 356 times a period, and the computed loop closes to 2.1×10⁻¹⁷.
