Isola AABAbbaabaBB (1, 0.588, 1) is a periodic orbit of the planar three-body problem: three masses in the ratio 1 : 0.588 : 1 that return to their starting positions and velocities every 8.92 time units, published by Three Body Orbits (2026). Golden pancake drama is the one linearly stable orbit of the September 2026 new-family search, with masses 1, 0.612 and 1; beside it are six samples of the closed mass loop it sits on, an isola whose middle mass runs from 0.469 to 0.635 and never reaches equal masses, with a stretch of the orbit’s own topology and a stretch shaped like a threefold figure-eight satellite. Numerically verified to 160 bits; not published elsewhere. It is weakly unstable (largest Floquet multiplier 1.164), so a small nudge makes it unravel over a few periods. The bodies pass within 0.00829 of each other at a top speed of 12.2, line up 18 times a period, and the computed loop closes to 1.4×10⁻²⁷.
