II.A.4

From Li, Jing & Liao (2018)

II.A.4 is a periodic orbit of the planar three-body problem: three equal masses that return to their starting positions and velocities every 46.577 time units, published by Li, Jing & Liao (2018). Class II.A orbits with an unequal third mass. It is unstable (largest Floquet multiplier 1581), so a small nudge makes it unravel over a few periods. The bodies pass within 0.00174 of each other at a top speed of 24.3, line up 34 times a period, and the computed loop closes to 8.2×10⁻²⁵.
