II.C orbits

The largest class in the atlas: hundreds of II.C orbits for seven mass ratios.

II.C orbits are periodic solutions of the planar three-body problem. The atlas holds 844 of them, with periods from 6.285 to 199.9, for several mass ratios; 178 of them are linearly stable. They come from Li & Liao (2017), More than six hundred new families of Newtonian periodic planar collisionless three-body orbits. Every orbit is precomputed to machine precision and plays one period at a time; open one to watch it, nudge it or rate it.
