We believe in respecting your privacy. This site is designed to work without collecting personal information or using tracking cookies.

Data Collection

Cosmic Signature processes minimal data to provide our service:

• Personal Information: Your name and date of birth are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to our servers.
• Location Information: We automatically detect your approximate country location (via IP address) to redirect you to the appropriate regional printing service. This location data is not stored and is only used for service optimization.
• Artwork Data: When you choose to create printable products, your generated artwork is temporarily stored on our servers to facilitate printing services.
• Sharing Data: When you create a shareable link, we store your simulation parameters (orbit settings, visual preferences) and generated artwork images on our servers to enable link sharing. This data is stored with a randomly generated identifier and does not include your personal information.
• Local browser storage (sessionStorage): During your visit we temporarily store your current artwork, visualization settings, and the name/date you typed in your own browser so the app works across steps. This data never leaves your device and is cleared when you close the tab.

Analytics

We use GoatCounter for basic website analytics. GoatCounter is a privacy-friendly analytics service that:

• Does NOT use cookies
• Does NOT track visitors across websites
• Does NOT collect personal information
• Only records anonymous page views and referrer information
• Is fully GDPR compliant without requiring cookie consent

How We Use Your Information

Cookies & similar

This website does not use cookies. We use sessionStorage (a browser feature similar to cookies) only to keep your current session working. It is not used for analytics, advertising, or tracking and is cleared when you close the tab.

Third-Party Services

When you choose to print products, you'll be redirected to our printing partner (Zazzle) based on your location. Zazzle operates different regional domains (zazzle.com, zazzle.co.uk, zazzle.ca, etc.) and has their own privacy policies that govern their handling of your data.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data, there's nothing to request, modify, or delete. Your artwork creations are anonymous and can only be accessed via the unique links you create.

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
